We specialize in farm, rural, and agricultural property appraisal in Southwest Missouri. Owned and operated by Tera Dover – a Certified General Appraiser – our team has the knowledge and expertise required to help you achieve your goals.
Meet Tera
Tera has a passion for agriculture and rural America. She grew up on a beef and vertically integrated broiler farm in Southwest Missouri. She was active in her FFA group and received the American FFA degree. In addition, she has a bachelors from Missouri State University in Agricultural Communications and received the Anson Elliott Citizen Leader award her senior year. After college she spent 8 years in lending and worked for the largest agricultural lender in the state. She managed a large and diverse portfolio of farm operations, land and rural homes. In 2016, after seeing a need for good appraisers with expertise in agriculture, she left her lending career and started Barn Door Appraisals.
At home Tera lives on a small hobby farm near Republic, MO. She and her husband are the lucky parents of three beautiful girls. Tera serves on the board of the Republic Care to Learn chapter. She also serves on the board of the Missouri Chapter of the ASFMRA (American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers).
